Job Description and Duties
Working under the supervision of a Caltrans Maintenance Supervisor, the incumbent operates a variety of equipment including passenger vehicles, trucks, construction equipment, snow removal vehicles, and more. Responsibilities include snow removal, highway maintenance tasks, and equipment care. Special projects may include blasting operations, emergency traffic control, and more.
Must possess a valid Class A driver's license.
Working Conditions:
Required to work in extreme conditions including heat up to 120 degrees and cold down to -15 degrees. Overtime may be required for emergencies or special projects.
