Position:

Together with two accounting employees, you ensure that all financial and accounting processes run smoothly. Completely according to the rules of the art.

This means that you:
- oversee all daily activities and support your team in this;
- implement the methods, policies and principles of Belgian Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP);
- ensure that all transactions are correctly recorded and registered;
- summarize expenses and allocations of products;
- check the processing of balances, income statements and other financial statements;
- support the controller in the monthly and year-end closings according to the principle of Fast Closing.

Profile:

You have a bachelor's degree in economics, accounting or finance and about 5 to 10 years of experience in (general) accounting.

Preferably in an industrial production environment, but this is not a must.

To get off to a smooth start in the job, it is important that you are well familiar with:

Belgian GAAP & VAT management;

- the common principles, processes, laws and regulations related to accounting;

SAP and possibly SAP CO for cost accounting.

You communicate clearly and empathetically in both Dutch and English. You know how to motivate people. Since you will be managing a small team, some experience in leadership is definitely an added value.
