    We are seeking a(an) Respiratory Therapist CRT for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care.

    Job Summary and Qualifications

    Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA approved respiratory care program (Associates Degree); Bachelor Degree preferred.
    Current Florida State License (CRT) Certified Respiratory Therapist.
    American Heart Association BLS health care provider required.
    ACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hire.
    Frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling and moving equipment.

    Your duties and responsibilities may include:

    • You will be responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
    • You must be self-directed in the absence of the full-time Team Leader.
    • You will maintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as given.
    • You will set up and administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages.

These include Emergency and Surgical Services. These also Orthopedics, Surgical Weight Management, Wound Care, Diagnostics, and Physical Rehabilitation. South Pasadena is a small, quiet Florida Gulf coast community. It is nestled conveniently between southwest St. Petersburg and the southern beaches of Pinellas County. The location is moments from beautiful white sand Gulf beaches, and excellent shopping. It is also located near medical facilities, and nearby cultural and sports events.
