- Create subsurface geologic structure and isopach maps utilizing well control and engineering data.
- Offer insights on the multi-disciplinary approach to Exploration and Production.
- Create subsurface geophysical structure, amplitude, and isopach maps using 2D and 3D seismic data.
- Create final structure, amplitude, and isopach maps by integrating subsurface geologic, engineering, and seismic data.
- Collaborate with a multifunctional team to plan and execute work activities on operated and non-operated properties.
- Participate in detailed field studies to evaluate remaining development and exploration potential in existing fields.
- Evaluate exploration, development, and workover potential on selected projects.
- Assist in developing drilling budgets.
- Work closely with A & D to support all efforts.
- Mentor and advise geologists on geophysical technologies and attributes that may assist with exploration projects.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Exploration Team.
- Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Geophysics, Geosciences, or a related field is required. A Master's Degree is a strong advantage.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Gulf of Mexico.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to engage positively with others.
- Experience with the following tools is an advantage:
- Kingdom interpretation system
- Petra
- RIO
- MMRA
- SAAM
- Lexco Owl
- Strong skills in geology or geoscience, including structural and stratigraphic interpretation and prospect generation.
- Proficient in mapping applications on 3D interpretation systems.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Report to the Corporate Office daily and adhere to the schedule.
- Capable of accessing, inputting, and retrieving information from a computer or electronic device.
- Engage in face-to-face conversations with stakeholders, peers, and executive management.
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and move within the work environment as needed.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Requires prolonged sitting, occasional bending, and stooping.
- Occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- May involve local and national travel.

FULL-TIME/PART-TIME: Full-Time
SCHEDULE: Mon-Tue, 9 hours (in-office)/Fri, 4 hours (remote)
FLSA STATUS: Salaried - Exempt
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for leading the technical evaluation of all assets by providing high-quality geoscience evaluation for corporate acquisition or new ventures projects and support, acting as a liaison with the exploration group to ensure a seamless transition of projects to the development stage.
