- Position: Staff Geologist
- Location: Houston TX – Memorial
- Process: 1 teams interview and 1 in person Panel
- Target Start: June 3rd
- Masters in Geology or related field, preferred
- At least 10 years of experience in oil and gas exploration with focus on offshore projects
- Minimum 5 years of direct involvement in reservoir modeling
- Proficiency in Deepwater Miocene and Wilcox reservoirs
- Expertise in sedimentological and stratigraphic analysis of deepwater depositional systems
- Skilled in developing geological models using Petrel
- Experience in integrating core, pressure, fluid, and seismic data into geological models
- Expertise in stochastic modeling techniques for depositional facies
- Proficient in running uncertainty analysis and interpreting seismic attributes
- Experience with Basin Modeling
- At least 7 years of experience in offshore Gulf of Mexico projects
- Interpret seismic and well logs for geological insights and risk analyses
- Integrate data sources to build geomodels in Petrel
- Create facies and petrophysical models using various methods
- Conduct well correlations, mapping, and data analysis
- Collaborate with reservoir engineers on reservoir simulation models
- Recommend drilling strategies and present findings to management
- Prepare and plan pre-drill activities, collaborating across departments
- Provide operational support during drilling activities and update field results as needed

We are seeking a Staff Geologist/Geoscientist to join our subsurface development team focusing on deepwater fields. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in constructing field models, well planning, and drilling. Proficiency in Petrel and the ability to develop geologic models for field development and well trajectory planning are essential.
The Staff Geologist will be responsible for applying quantitative analysis techniques to identify and optimize infield hydrocarbon potential.
