    Description


    REMOTE ROLE Long term contractJob SummaryJoin our dynamic team as a Pipe Stress Engineer, where youll be responsible for conducting thermal flexibility analyses on piping systems in alignment with ASME codes.

    Collaborate closely with a talented group of designers and engineers to optimize pipe routing and support schemes.

    If you have over 5 years of power plant design experience, a mechanical or structural engineering degree, and proficiency in pipe stress analysis software, we invite you to apply and contribute to our innovative projects.

    Job DescriptionPerform piping system thermal flexibility analyses in accordance with ASME piping codes, standards, and industry practices.
    Collaborate with designers, engineers, and the construction team to optimize pipe routing and support schemes.
    Develop schedules, work assignments, and staffing requirements to ensure successful project completionSkills Required5+ years power plant design experience with an emphasis in pipe stress and supportProficient in basic computer programs including MS Word and Excel, web browsing, and e-mail programs, ideally with experience utilizing AutoPipe (or equivalent) pipe stress analysis softwareExceptional organization and communication skills LI-SMIRegular, reliable attendanceWork productively and meet deadlines timelyCommunicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environmentEducation/Training/CertificationsBachelors degree in mechanical engineering, structural engineering, or equivalent engineering program from an ABET accredited four-year universityEngineer-ln
