- High school or GED equivalent
- Prior experience with heavy construction and/or agricultural equipment repair and maintenance
- Valid NYS Driver License required, CDL preferred
- Excellent time management skills and flexibility in work assignments
- Strong independent work ethic and ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to use power and hand-held tools, and diagnostic equipment to repair, replace, and test equipment and vehicles
- Ability to understand directions and follow standard operating procedures
- High regard for safety and hazard mitigation
- Perform predictive, preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance and inspections of diesel, gas, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair diesel, gas, hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems
- Effectively use diagnostic tools and data
- Test equipment after repair to ensure proper operation and performance
- Accurately record time, parts, and inspection checklists
- Safely operate repair equipment including vehicle hoist, tire changer and balancer, torches, grinders, and various hand and power tools
