Tata Steel Distribution Mainland Europe (DMLE) is a division of the Tata Steel Europe Group.

This group specializes in the processing of surface-treated sheet metal and is represented in Germany with its location in Gelsenkirchen.

Using modern equipment, this service center processes tons of high-quality steel grades into slit coils and sheet metal. The products are manufactured according to customer specifications as well as in stock formats.

To strengthen our team in Gelsenkirchen, we are currently seeking a

"Machine and Plant Operator for Slitting Lines (m/f/d)"


Your responsibilities:
Reading and interpreting work plans
Entering customer-specific data into the plant's computer system
Setting up and adjusting the plant according to customer requirements
Monitoring and maintaining tolerances
Performing quality control according to company standards
Overseeing the production process
Resolving any malfunctions
Documenting process flows and material data
Maintaining and cleaning the plant
Ensuring smooth operations
Coordinating and working closely with other team members


Your profile:
Completed training as a machine and plant operator or industrial mechanic
Basic knowledge of computer systems
Technical understanding
Logical thinking and analytical skills
Team player
