    Established Fire Sprinkler Company seeking immediate hire for a Fire Alarm Technician. Founded in 1989, Arapahoe Fire Protection is a leading fire protection company with offices in Aurora, Colorado Springs, and Wheat Ridge Colorado.     Fire Alarm Technician

    Installation and troubleshooting of fire alarm systems and components including installing electrical wiring and equipment.

    • Service, Test and Inspection, Programming and Installation of low voltage Fire Alarm Systems
    • Acquire and maintain all required local licensure (e.g. City of Denver)
    • Perform on-site emergency troubleshooting, programming and repair of FA systems
    • Travel within the state of Colorado to work job sites as necessary (company vehicle provided)

    Qualifications:

    • Experience in Fire Alarm industry with valid Denver Fire Alarm Installer license or ability to license shortly after hire
    • Install or inspection experience
    • A current and valid driver's license in accordance with company policy
    • Must have knowledge and understanding of all applicable NFPA codes
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be customer oriented
    • Ability to carry and lift equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
