Switchboard Operator - New York, United States - Crosby Hotel LLC
Description
MAIN DUTIES:
- Operate the telephone/switchboard per Firmdale standards
- Inquires as to the nature of calls in order to refer to appropriate person or service.
- Ensuring that any guest request or issue is communicated to the manager on duty and follow up takes place
- Compiles daily reports and distributes to applicable department managers
- Updates guest profiles in Opera PMS
- Covers reception shifts when required
- General administrative duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Customer service experience preferred
- Selfstarter with exceptional organization and administrative skills
- Excellent level of spoken and written English
- Friendly and professional telephone etiquette
- Exceptional PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexible scheduling
