Summary of Position:


The Position involves High guest contact and provides guests with personalized service by efficiently and effectively processing guest Food and Beverage orders, guest amenities according to guest needs, and.

Organize and maintain room service area and carry out designated side works and extra tasks for the shift. Maintain a high standard of sanitation and cleanliness.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • To have a knowledge of

  • To assist guest in all their needs
  • To maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times
  • To practice and promote teamwork by assisting your fellow servers, back servers, and all other colleagues whenever necessary.
  • To deliver food and drinks to guests in an efficient and professional manner.
  • To clean tables and service areas in an efficient and professional manner.
  • To ensure all allergy procedures are followed in the event of a guest allergy.
  • To carry out daily cleaning duties.
  • To have a strong knowledge of the food and beverages offered
  • To have a full understanding of New York City Health Department standards and regulations
  • To report any guest complaints immediately to the Manager/ Supervisor.
  • To ensure mise en place is ready at all times
  • To take personal responsibility for punctuality.
  • Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance at all times.
  • Ensure a high level of communication between the restaurant and the kitchen.
  • To promote other Firmdale Hotels and restaurants.
