Social Pedagogue for Supported Independent Living in Shadeland, IN

We are currently seeking a social pedagogue (Diploma, B.A., M.A.) to work with adolescents and young adults in the field of Supported Independent Living (- 34 SGB VIII).

The position will begin on June 1, 2024. The role will be part-time, with 25-30 hours per week.

We offer flexible working hours, regular supervision, and training opportunities, as well as close collaboration with a multi-professional and experienced team.

V. is a non-profit organization for youth welfare, located in Berlin-Mitte.

Our team of social pedagogues works in collaboration to support and guide 12 young people of diverse backgrounds and gender identities, living in eight apartments across Mitte and Wedding.

Through a critical and sensitive approach to discrimination, we aim to provide individualized support for social participation and access to education.

The role includes a variety of exciting topics in social pedagogical practice, such as educational and vocational support, promoting independence, fostering responsible behavior, developing life perspectives, and increasing tolerance for everyday challenges.

Our services are designed to protect our clients from various risks, such as exclusion, violence, neglect, and discrimination.

Our organizational structure ensures low hierarchies, allowing all employees to actively contribute to the development of the organization and internal processes.
