- Perform routine cleaning, servicing, and restocking of supplies in the building.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, clean restrooms, wash windows and walls, and other assigned duties following specified procedures.
- Dispose of trash, sanitize, and re-line waste containers when necessary.
- Conduct detail work such as polishing brass, stainless steel, dusting ledges, corners, and furniture without disturbing personal belongings.
- Adhere to recycling protocols, report damages or malfunctions, and replace light bulbs.
- Assist with special events, snow removal, and maintain cleanliness on campus.
- Follow key sign-in/sign-out procedures and safety guidelines provided by the supervisor.
- Handle chemicals according to safety data sheets to prevent damage and ensure personal safety.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Minimum education level and licenses are required.
- Valid unrestricted U.S. Driver's License for at least one year; complete College's vehicle training program within 60 days of employment and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
- Desirable: 6 months of previous cleaning experience.
- Hepatitis B vaccination and OSHA training required.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact courteously with various individuals.
- Familiarity with cleaning methods, materials, and equipment.
- Establish and maintain positive working relationships.
- Flexibility to work independently or in a team and different shifts.
- Available for weekends, overtime, and special events when necessary.
- Exposed to wet/humid conditions and occasional hazards.
- Occasional exposure to chemicals, outside weather, and moderate noise levels.
- Stand, walk, reach, talk, and lift weights regularly.
- Use vision and hands extensively and climb or balance occasionally.
