- Lead the recruitment and hiring process for office and field staff.
- Provide leadership in employee relations, including effective communication, coaching, training, and development.
- Ensure team members are well-trained in client practices and protocols, fostering career development to enhance retention.
- Manage financial aspects such as profit and loss (P&L) and budgets for the office.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Independently drive towards managerial goals.
- Maintain professional communication with coworkers, customers, and vendors.
- Organize daily activities and foster teamwork within the office.
- Supervise Estimators, Project Managers, Administrators, Asset Managers, and Sales and Marketing efforts.
- Monitor workflow and systems to optimize task completion.
- Attend marketing events to promote the client and generate leads.
- Conduct project inspections to ensure quality control.
- Address customer complaints promptly and resolve issues effectively.
- Undertake other projects and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in the insurance or restoration industry.
- Proficiency in technology, including computer programs, payroll and timekeeping software, and smartphone functions.
- Proven ability to manage employees, including coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Knowledge of company products, services, policies, and procedures.
- Understanding of insurance industry practices and customer needs.
- Familiarity with federal and local codes and requirements.
- Strong multitasking and delegation skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve customer problems and complaints.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in office/field equipment and software.
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, and payroll and time recording software; JD Edwards preferred.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with others and maintain professional relationships.
- Occasional lifting from 5-40 lbs, unassisted (0-15% of the time).
- Extended periods of sitting.
- Manual dexterity for keyboarding and repetitive tasks.
- Ability to bend, crouch, or stand as necessary.
