    Spherion Staffing is interviewing candidates for a Director of Nursing position in the Wadena, MN area. The Director of Nursing Services is responsible for providing leadership and strategic direction to the nursing department within the healthcare facility. They oversee all aspects of nursing operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

    In this role, you will work in close alignment with the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure patient safety, quality of care and exceptional customer service across the continuum of care. This role plays as a key partner with the Chief Nursing Officer on strategic planning, innovation, and to identify and respond to the needs of our communities and the patients being served. This position will have direct oversight over multiple departments and hospital services as well as project management and operational support for the nursing division.

    Salary $130-150k/year DOE

    Responsibilities:
    -Work with the clinical staff, including physicians, to standardize work process, to ensure best practice/evidenced based care and eliminate variations in care delivery
    -Responsible for Safety, Quality of Care, Service, Operational and Financial Performance of assigned areas
    -Serve as a liaison for other departments in the nursing division. Providing project management, operational support and serves as a communication vehicle and representative between Sr. Leadership and the nursing division
    -Development of relationships between departments, administration, physicians, supervisors and direct staff to ensure collaboration and opportunities for shared services
    -Assist with implementation of strategic initiatives and performance improvement activities
    -Identify opportunities for growth and development in our programs and services
    -Provide leadership and direction to ensure the development of services in both outpatient and inpatient settings
    -Ensure that clinical support functions are coordinated across staff, functions and activities in order to improve patient and clinical outcomes
    -Provide oversight and ensures ongoing compliance with quality and regulatory programs including but not limited to, CMS, Joint Commission and department specific regulatory standards and requirements

    Qualifications:
    -Bachelor's degree in Nursing with a master's in nursing, or a related field, or the ability to obtain a master's degree
    -Three (3) plus years of progressive leadership experience in similar role and proven experience in service line and program development
    -Demonstrate a high degree of commitment to customer service excellence
    -Possess cross-cultural sensitivity
    -Ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders, building strong relationships
    -Ability to perform tasks both collaboratively and independently
    -Strong oral and written communication skills
    -Demonstrate concern for patients of all ages, visitors, and co-workers
    -Maintain confidentiality of information and privacy compliance
