Job DescriptionDescriptionEstablished in 2003, Attendant Care has provided exceptional home health, private duty nursing, and residential services to individuals with health and/or behavioral needs for over 20 years. We provide reliable, professional, expert care with a personal touch – treating all families with the same level of care we give our family.
Key ResponsibilitiesDuties and Responsibilities:

Assess patient's condition and status, and chart your observations
Perform evaluation tasks including vital signs and medication review
Educate patients on medications as prescribed by the patient's physician, and assist with setting reminders and alerts.
Educate patients and their families on proper home health care strategies and procedures
Coordinate with Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians, and anyone else involved in the patients care plan
Listen to the patients concerns and or requests
Provide palliative care as needed to keep the patient comfortable
Must be compassionate and have a friendly demeanor
Excellent communication and time management skills are required
Other tasks as assigned

Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseRequirements:

Registered Nurse Licensed to practice in MI.
Valid State of Michigan Drivers License
Current auto insurance
