    Job Title: Chemical Engineer - Plant Operations Support

    Location: Eastern NC (Coastal Area) - Relocation package available

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Spearhead process enhancement initiatives to boost plant efficiency and productivity.
    • Lead cost-reduction projects and manage budgeting for operational and maintenance expenditures.
    • Champion safety and environmental projects to uphold and exceed compliance standards.
    • Analyze production data to ensure targets are met and propose strategies to overcome any shortfalls.
    • Conduct thorough root cause analysis for operational issues and lead corrective actions.
    • Oversee and optimize capital expenditure projects, ensuring strategic investment and deployment.
    • Manage contract operations to maximize fiscal efficiency.
    • Engage with plant teams regularly to foster a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
    • Facilitate training programs for plant personnel, focusing on operational changes and new equipment handling.
    Requirements

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
    • Minimum 4 years of experience in process or production engineering within a large-scale, continuous chemical plant environment.
    • Must be a US Citizen or hold a Permanent Residency (Green Card).
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to influence plant operations.
    • Proficient in chemical unit operations with a strong track record in cost management and process optimization.
