    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee the site's project portfolio, managing all phases from initial scope to commissioning, including detailed design, construction, and effective cost and process control
    • Maintain responsibility for project cost estimates, capital expenditure budgets, scheduling, and process forecasting, along with developing robust business case documentation
    • Rigorously manage the annual Capital Expenditure Plan, aligning with budget constraints and optimizing resource allocation
    • Enhance procurement and contract management processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards through regular audits and updates
    • Implement project plans and cost control systems, extending through the entire project lifecycle
    • Deliver training and coaching to enhance team skill sets and promote professional growth
    • Proactively manage safety, health, and environmental risks associated with projects
    • Engage in maintenance spend activities, focusing on cost control and forecasting
    • Lead negotiations with vendors to secure advantageous pricing and support agreements
    • Collaborate closely with the Site Management Team on capital expenditure requests, approvals, and reporting

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
    • At least 8 years of project or maintenance engineering experience in a high-speed, automated manufacturing environment, ideally within the chemical or mechanical sectors
    • Demonstrated experience managing a project portfolio ranging from $1-10 million
    • Strong technical acumen in plant maintenance and improvement projects, as well as leadership experience directing a project engineering team
    • PMP certification is preferred but not required
