Coordinating the delivery of patient care on a designated unit.
In collaboration with the Clinical Manager, coordinates implements and evaluates patient care to promote safe, efficient, cost-effective and therapeutic nursing care.
Assists in the provision of care to patients of all age groups.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Bachelor's degree in nursing or health related field preferred.
Experience:
Two years current hospital experience.
Knowledge and Abilities:
Demonstrates good leadership and communication skills, flexibility and creativity. Demonstrates knowledge and skill in nursing theory and practice of nursing process. Nurses assigned to a specialty unit will be required to meet criteria established for that unit.
Registration, Certification or Licensure Requirement:
Current Ohio Licensure; ACLS; Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (HCP) by the American Heart Association required.
