    Description

    Audit /Assurance Manager / Senior Manager

    Looking for an Audit Manager or Senior Audit Manager to join our rapidly growing national firm, ranked in the top 25, located in New York City. This role involves overseeing Audit/Assurance projects with minimal supervision from the Partner.


    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate planning stages of projects and ensure timelines are met.
    • Create project budgets.
    • Assess work papers for adherence to professional standards and firm policies.
    • Review financial reports and statements.
    • Discuss significant findings with the Partner regarding auditing standards and firm policies.
    • Manage risks and uphold quality control measures.
    • Contribute to business development and oversee multiple projects.
    • Handle billing and collections when needed.
    • Cultivate positive relationships with clients.
    • Provide training to team members.
    • Work on Special Projects as required.
    • Generate new business opportunities annually.
    • Effectively manage expectations of employees and clients.
    • Conduct performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback.

    Qualifications

    • BBA/BS/MS in Accounting.
    • CPA license is mandatory.
    • 5-8 years of relevant experience.
    • Advanced understanding of GAAP/Tax laws.
    • Experience in Manufacturing, Life Sciences, Technology, Media, or Financial Services is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Skilled at problem-solving.
    • Proficient in handling complex technical issues.
    • Ability to meet deadlines.
