Job DescriptionAudit Manager
Responsibilities for Audit Manager
Perform detailed reviews of financial statement audit engagements, review engagements, agreed-upon procedures engagements, outsourced accounting engagements
Assume responsibility of financial statement accounts assigned. This includes responsibility for personnel scheduling, compliance with due dates, billing, and monitoring time budgets
Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Act as a resource and mentor for assurance staff on specific financial statement issues and related questions
Assume client service responsibility
Manage time effectively. This includes the ability to manage multiple engagements at one time and meet deadlines
Possess strong computer skills, including the ability to work with ProSystems Engagement, Microsoft Office, XCM
Effectively supervise and lead team of senior and staff level assurance associates
Participate in the firms career advisory program
Qualifications for Audit Manager:
Minimum of 7 years of solid audit/assurance experience gained within a public accounting firm with very little job movement
Bachelor's degree in accounting and CPA required
Tax experience a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational techniques are required
Must be highly motivated and experienced in managing multiple client engagements
Business development experience preferred, encouraged if no prior experience
