Host - Legends (Part Time)

The University of Notre Dame Enterprises and Events (UEE) division is currently hiring for the position of _Host _within _Legends._ The UEE division leads the University's event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives.


Why this position?
The Host at Legends is responsible for: acknowledging welcoming, and greeting all guests. Seating guests to optimize the dining experience.

Answer Phones according to service standards - and ask A LOT OF questions Document details in guests reservation account in OpenTable.

Coat Check / Luggage or package assistance as guest arrive and depart. Farewell and Invitation to Return. Reservation Confirmation with Guests. Alert Server about all special notes in a reservation including allergies, special occasions, past experiences, etc. Observe and respond to guests in the

lobby, restaurant, and terrace. Anticipate needs and opportunities to serve. Update Guest Experience Profile each visit and alert management of any issues. Maintain and clean and presentable workstation at all times
- including host podium and coat room. Assure all observable guests have an assigned server. Maintain a continuous presence, acting as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information. Personalizing all answers and solutions to guests' inquiries that further identify amenities, programs, activities, and events at the Morris Inn, at Notre Dame, or in South Bend. Alert Managers of all VIPS in house. Execute all guest interactions with a joy for serving others
- all while demonstrating professionalism, job knowledge, grace,

respect, and friendliness in the lobby, restaurant, and terrace to anticipate needs and seek opportunities to serve.
