- The Sr. Grant Accountant is responsible for performing grant-related tasks in a timely manner
- Assists in the preparations of the annual indirect rate proposal as directed by the Director of Business & Finance
- Perform quality control reviews of data entered into the financial system in order to ensure compliance and data integrity of the financial system
- Prepare monthly grant invoices, reconciliations, and reporting as needed
- Respond to questions from principal investigators and funding agencies related to details of proposals such as fringe benefit rates, verification of salaries and indirect costs.
- Research and summarize information on government regulations pertinent to grants and contracts.
- Compile data and prepare reports, set forth trends, analyze progress, and make recommendations or conclusions.
