The Director of Operations is a firm leader who will oversee daily activities and coordinate all operations processes, procedures, and protocols, with a focus on iterative excellence.
As the Director of Operations at RFG Advisory, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within our organization as we continue to grow our platform.
You will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day operations of the RIA, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and a seamless Advisor and client experience.
This role requires a strategic thinker, an effective leader, and a problem solver who can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Location :
This position may be remote or located in Birmingham, AL office. If in Birmingham, we offer a hybrid schedule 3-days in-office, 2 days remote.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as primary point of contact for our Broker Dealer, Private Client Services
Lead and manage the operations team, providing strategic direction, guidance and hands-on work
Continuous implementation of best practices to streamline operational processes and enhance overall efficiency
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals
Develop and execute strategies to support the scalability of RIA operations in line with the company's growth trajectory
Work closely with client service teams to ensure a high-quality client experience
Implement and monitor KPI service standards to meet or exceed Advisor and client expectations
Maintain custodial and vendor service relationships
Oversee principal approval for all advisory account paperwork and discretionary agreements
Source, vet, and onboard new vendors to create operational efficiencies, provide additional investment solutions, and establish new revenue streams for the firm
Set monthly, quarterly, and annual team OKR goals with an emphasis on increased efficiency and scaling for growth
Work closely with the technology team to implement and support new systems
Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address any regulatory issues or updates

Requirements
Education :
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a similar field.
Experience :
5 or more years of operational experience in a leadership role with a GROWING RIA
Demonstrated success in scaling operations in a high-growth environment
Experience with Schwab, Fidelity, Pershing
Experience in Orion and Salesforce
Proven history of developing optimized and efficient operational processes leveraging technology in the financial services industry
Strong leadership skills and experience leading and growing a dynamic team of A-players
Skills and Attributes :
