    PDS Defense, Incis seeking a Design and Analysis Engineer 4 in Oklahoma City, OK.


    Responsibilities:
    Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirementsLeads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specificationsLeads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirementsOversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirementsSolves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleResearches technology advances for potential application to company business needsMakes recommendations for technology investmentsCoordinate, test, and verify Electrical Power requirements with teammates, customers, and system architects through the development and sustainment of various customer systemsReview supplier and partner qualification data to ensure compliance with customer and FAA electrical power requirementsPerform Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA) on a multitude of platforms in accordance with MIL-E-7016 and MIL-STD-704Lead and coordinate work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specificationsSolve problems concerning and provide other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycleSupport project management by tracking and reporting project status, generating bids and requirements, and providing work statements, budgets, and schedulesResearch specific technology advances for potential application to company business needsModel the power generation, storage, and dissipation behavior of the Electrical Power Subsystem under various mission scenariosIdentify, track, and status technical performance measures to measure progress and ensure compliance with requirementsConduct detailed trade studies and generate reports to communicate engineering recommendationsLead development of high-level and detailed designs consistent with requirements and specificationsDevelop automated test equipment to support aircraft test requirements

    Basic Hiring Criteria:

    Bachelors degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistryThis position requires the ability to obtain a U.Ssecurity Clearance for which the U.Sgovernment requires U.SCitizenship; An interim and/or final U.

    SSecret Clearance Post-Start is requiredMust have previous experience in the defense or aerospace industryMust have previous experience writing/verifying Electrical Power requirementsMust have experience using power measurement tests and measurement instrumentation (such as power supplies, power meters, and analyzers)


    Must be familiar with Electrical Loads Analysis (ELA) concepts and MIL-E-7016Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time as requiredDesired Qualifications:9 or more years of related work experience (Expert Level)An ABET-accredited Bachelors degree in electrical engineering or a Masters/PhD in electrical engineeringActive U.

    SSecurity ClearanceExperience in the design, analysis, integration, and verification of Electrical Power generation, distribution, and/or regulation systemsKnowledge and experience in establishing, designing, and verifying Power Quality requirements and testing in accordance with MIL-STD-704Experience with power simulation toolsExperience with software scripting/programming languages for office products, test equipment programs, and/or modeling toolsPrevious experience in Electrical Power Design and Analysis
