We are offering a full-time, permanent position in Manchester, NH, rated at pay grade 6 according to the TVöD collective agreement.


For this diverse and interesting role, we are seeking candidates with a successfully completed apprenticeship as a wastewater technician or a technical vocational training with relevant work experience in the field of sewer or wastewater management.

We expect you to be willing to complete the basic seminar "Fundamentals of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation" as well as the certificate course "Certified Wastewater Treatment Plant Specialist".

Good manual skills, a Class B driver's license, and the willingness to work outside of regular working hours (e.g. weekend shifts, late shifts) complete your profile.


Your responsibilities:


  • Control, monitoring, and maintenance of all wastewater facilities
  • Participation in the daily operation of wastewater and sludge treatment plants

Your profile:


  • Completed apprenticeship as a wastewater technician or a technical vocational training with relevant work experience in the field of sewer or wastewater management
  • Willingness to complete the basic seminar "Fundamentals of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operation" as well as the certificate course "Certified Wastewater Treatment Plant Specialist"
  • Good manual skills
  • Experience with ITbased remote control systems
  • Willingness to work outside of regular working hours (e.g. weekend shifts, late shifts)
  • Class B driver's license
  • Independent, responsible work ethic, team player
