General mechanical engineering - Flatwoods, United States - Nexus Innovations
Description
Flatwoods General Mechanical Engineering (Bachelor of Engineering) (m/f/d) - cooperative
The Cooperative Engineering Studies (KIng) is an engineering program at the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences with practical components in a partner company, in line with the Dual Studies Hessen concept.
During the semester, students attend regular lectures and courses. In the semester breaks, they complete practical phases at a company. A student contract regulates the employment conditions, such as salary and vacation days. All required internships and final projects are completed at the contracting company. The specific tasks during the practical phases are proposed by the company and coordinated with the university.
There are no compromises in terms of study goals compared to a regular engineering program. Students receive a monthly salary from the company. The effort of searching for internships, practical phases, and final projects is eliminated.
Practical experience is gained during the program, and students get to know different fields of work within the company and establish valuable contacts.
PerspectivesMechanical engineers work in various fields, such as product development and design, production, assembly, sales, and management.
Industries (selection):
Mechanical engineering, plant engineering, vehicle manufacturing
Materials engineering, environmental technology
Aerospace engineering
