    Description
    PDS Defense, Inc is seeking a Program Management Specialist 5 in Plano, TX.

    Seeking a Senior Project Manager to operate as the IPT (Integrated Product Team) lead for its Vehicle Management Systems product line development, test, and delivery efforts to the customer program This role reports through the Program Management leadership team but regularly interfaces with technical and functional management and individual contributors across the organization in order to deliver high-quality avionics solutions to the customer's internal customers and program partners.


    Responsibilities :
    Position involves teaming with management on a daily basis to assist with estimates, program planning and stakeholder engagement, requirements fulfillment, earned value management (EVM) and LRBP planning, team tasking, schedule networking, and various other assignments that drive successful execution in the design, development, test, and support of our avionics products Responsible for identifying key program-level horizontal and vertical integration interfaces between major activities, teams, suppliers, partners, and customers Working with engineering and functional partners, sometimes globally, to organize handoffs and network logic between teams Develop and implement operational plans aligned with program objectives and customer requirements Lead cross-functional team in processes to meet customer, company, industry, and regulatory requirements and certification efforts Facilitate resolution of program issues; Manage RIO (Risk, Issue & Opportunity boards)

    Forecast resource needs and RAAs Develop and maintain metrics for continuous improvement Support LRBP (Long Range Business Planning), EV (Earned Value) reporting, and Variance to Plan analyses Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role, and regular and predictable attendance is required Basic Hiring Criteria :

    Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.

    g PhD 9 years of related work experience, Master 12 years' related work experience, 18 years of related work experience, etc)

    Required skills/qualifications:
    Development - no production, engineering development only EVM - earned value management experience Developing and implementing customer requirements decompression
