    Primary Talent Partners has an open Mechanical Laboratory Technician role open with a large pharmaceutical manufacturing client of ours in Lafayette, CO


    Contract Length:
    2 years
    We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mechanical Lab Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in prototype development and mechanical testing within our engineering lab.

    Conduct mechanical testing using specialized equipment to evaluate the performance and reliability of prototypes, focusing on medical hardware applications.

    Apply strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues encountered during prototype development and testing.
    Maintain accurate documentation of design iterations, test results, and project progress using document control processes.
    Demonstrate precision and attention to detail in all aspects of prototype fabrication, testing, and documentation.
    Uphold high-quality and reliability standards in all lab activities, ensuring ethical conduct in handling proprietary and sensitive information.
    Associate degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering Technology or related field.
    Familiarity with mechanical testing methods and equipment for evaluating prototype performance and reliability.
    Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting mechanical issues.
    Excellent documentation skills to maintain accurate records of design changes, test results, and project milestones.
    Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and precision.
    Computer literacy in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    Prepare project plans and project progress reports.
    Extensive report writing experience
    Mechanical aptitude
    Automated testing methods
    Experience with solid modeling software such as Pro/Engineer or Solidworks
