Sampling Technician/laboratory Associate - Westminster, United States - Pinnacle CT Labs

Description

• The sampling technician responsibilities include traveling to grower/processors sites, collecting cannabis samples using aseptic technique and documenting appropriate information on chain of custodies and manifests to transfer the samples securely back to the laboratory.
• The laboratory associate responsibilities include general duties throughout the lab including but not limited to sample preparation, receiving supplies and assisting chemists.

• Have a valid Maryland driver's license
• Have a clean driving record and reliable vehicle
• Be at least 21 years old

• Laboratory experience
• Customer service experience

• Comply with company policies and procedures to ensure ongoing compliance with state cannabis regulations
• Sample collection and secured transport from customer site to laboratory
• Interface with client and effectively relay information back to laboratory staff
• Complete chain of custody and manifest documentation using good documentation practices
• Responsible for accurate weighing and recording all product and sampling weights
• Enter samples into information management systems
• Assist with sample preparation, as needed
• Work in a timely manner and strives to improve quality and maintain accuracy
• Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned
