Laboratory Support Technician
Michelson Laboratories, Inc. is a Food and Environmental Testing laboratory in City of Commerce that is rapidly growing. We have a wide range of internal laboratories, including Microbiology, Chemistry, Instrumentation, Entomology, Environmental, and Proximate. Michelson Laboratories, Inc.

is a top-tier Testing laboratory that has assembled a renowned team of scientific experts and is well known within the scientific community and food industry.

Michelson Laboratories, Inc. is making a major commitment to expanding its professional team. We are looking for a full-time and part-time experienced Laboratory Support Technician to assist in our Chemistry department. The position works closely with the Lab Managers to ensure fast turn-around time and high-quality service.

Responsibilities for Laboratory Support Technician:

Preparing samples for analysis
Perform sample extractions and titrations
Weigh samples
Review of sample preparation and storage
Sample Disposition
Comply with all health, safety procedure and GLPs
Wash and clean glassware and lab equipment
Must be able to lift 10lbs with each hand and pick up to 50lbs
Ability to stand/walk 100% of the time
Keep the sample preparation room, washroom, and equipment clean and organized
Requires some shifts on weekends and holiday
Able to work under a fastpath environment
Possess a positive attitude
Communicate effectively and are team players
Reliable and professional
Crosstrain on multiple stations
Ability to follow instructions, procedures and finish designated assignments on a timely manner.
Ability to train in safe and proper operation of equipment needed to perform job duties.

Qualifications for Laboratory Support Technician:

Comfortable in a fastpaced environment with mínimal direction and able to adjust workload based on upon changing priorities.
B.S. or A.S in Chemistry, Food Science, or closely related field preferred
Capacity for liftingup to 50 lbs, reaching, bending, and twisting.
Have flexible availability, and a positive attitude.
Must be able to work efficiently
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Able to work overtime
