- Assist in the analysis and reporting of production costs.
- Perform cost accounting functions including cost allocation and inventory valuation.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operations and reduce cost.
- Assist in the development and implementation of cost accounting policies and procedures.
- Provide support for special projects as needed.
- Prepare reports, charts, graphs or other media to interpret and analyze financial trends with regards to expenses or other related financial information.
- Provide monthly and ad hoc reporting as requested by the business.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to the plant management team to drive business decisions.
- Assist in preparation of accurate forecasts for the plant's financial performance.
- Work closely with the plant management team to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
- 2+ years of experience in cost accounting or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Primary Purpose:
The primary responsibility of the Cost Analyst will be to assist in the analysis and reporting of production costs for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team to achieve the company goals.
Essential Duties:
Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related field (Bachelors preferred).
