We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Indirect Procurement Mgr - North America to join our team in the Northern suburbs of Chicago.

As an Indirect Procurement Mgr - North America, you will play a pivotal role in leading strategic procurement sourcing activities with a focus on category spend in the US, Canada, and Mexico.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing North American sourcing strategies to optimize service levels and results.

This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with senior leaders, aligning short-term and long-term category goals while driving impactful solutions to achieve our objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Define, develop, and implement sourcing strategies for managed categories in alignment with organizational goals.
Lead the sourcing process, including eSourcing, RFP strategy, negotiations, and contract execution with selected suppliers.
Collaborate with senior leaders and partners to develop category goals and pipeline opportunities, offering solutions to achieve desired outcomes.
Monitor supplier market trends and identify opportunities, utilizing market intelligence to validate and benchmark costs and pricing.
Prioritize and conduct spend and savings analysis to optimize procurement strategies.
Manage initiatives within assigned categories, ensuring adherence to defined timelines and providing proactive status communication to partners.
Foster and manage supplier relationships, monitoring performance against contract obligations, SLAs, KPIs, and metrics.
Forecast Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for proposed solutions and ensure adherence to cost reduction and savings goals.
Uphold Company processes and procedures to maintain compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:
6+ years of experience in sourcing with a focus on category management and strategic sourcing.
Proficiency in negotiation and advanced contract T&C's.
Professional qualification/certification from related professional organizations (CPM, CPSM, APICS) is advantageous.
