- Support the production of safe, high-quality products and team member safety.
- Must have a completed High School Diploma, HSE or GED.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended amounts of time as well as maintain footing on concrete floors.
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 30-50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must be able to follow verbal and written directions.
- Complies with GMP, food safety, and safety standards at all times.
- Must be reliable, dependable, and be able to work in a team environment.
- Some positions will require working in an extreme environment of -20 degrees.
- Must know proper lifting and bending techniques.
- Possess good basic math skills.
- Responsible for following all Good Manufacturing Procedures (GMPs).
- Monitoring production process to assure quality products per customer specifications.
- Complying with plant policies, safety, and E.P.A. regulations.
- Ensuring productivity goals are met for department/machine by monitoring run speeds, set up times, and coordination of support departments.
- Achieving or exceeding waste goals per machines/department through inspections, good procedure, and accurate reporting.
- Cross-training will be done for ALL associates.
- Communicating orally and/or in writing via e-mail to other departments for resolution of mechanical problems, reporting defective material, coordination of job preparations, change-overs, and daily shift information.
