- Experience with WHEDA Tax Credit Compliance and HOME Program Regulations
- Advanced knowledge of Racial Justice practices and principles, ideally in an organizational / HR context
- Knowledge of fair housing practices
- Knowledge of best practices in workforce development strategies for adults and youth
- Knowledge and advanced understanding of leadership styles, practices and evaluation methods
- Contextual familiarity of the community, political and social climate of Madison and Dane County

Are you looking to be part of a dynamic leadership team working to support upstream violence prevention efforts in Madison and Dane County? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, supporting professionals and community members as they navigate complex challenges?
Common Wealth is seeking a Director of Operations to join the Leadership team in support of our 32 staff, hundreds of residents in our housing portfolio, dozens of small businesses in our incubator community, and thousands of youth and adults in our workforce development programs. This position involves supervising the general operations of the organization, guidance and mentorship of our team of Program Leads, and overall support of every programmatic aspect of the organization. Compensation starts at $85K per year, with gradual raises to $90K after 12 months and $95K after 18 months. Common Wealth Development offers a $ language bonus for employees who are fluent in Spanish.
