Job Summary:

The Warehouse Associate will coordinate the activities and operations of the warehouse.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
_**- None.

**_

Duties/Responsibilities:
_**- Distributes production related materials from the warehouse to the work in progress (WIP).

  • Gathers production related materials as directed by the planning department.
  • Output finished production materials to their proper storage bins.
  • Restocking personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Coordinates the movement and documentation of hazardous materials.
  • Manually handles, repacks, or restacks pallets of finished product as needed.
  • Operates forklift truck as needed.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the warehouses.
  • Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
  • Interface with warehouse management system (WMS).
  • Performs other related duties as directed.

Required Skills/Abilities:
_**- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of or ability to quickly learn company product codes and terminology.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.

Education and Experience:
_**- High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Valid state motor vehicle operator's license for forklift truck required.
  • At least two years of work experience in a warehouse required.

Physical Requirements:
_**- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.

  • Ability to move around the warehouse.
