    Internship - Data Analytics Specialist

    Internship Eligibility and Requirements

    • Currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
    • Academic status of sophomore, junior, senior, master
    • Program of study: Data Analytics, Statistics, or Data Science
    • Cumulative GPA of or above
    • Authorized to work in the United States
    • Commitment to promoting an inclusive work environment
    • Demonstrated proficiency in querying via SQL

    Preferred Skills:

    • Geospatial analysis
    • Workflow creation/automation
    • Experience with Python, Tableau, Alteryx, and/or Snowflake

      Job Purpose:

      The Student Intern will gain professional work experience in their academic discipline within a designated business unit under the guidance and direction of the supervisor to contribute to organizational objectives.

      Primary Functions:

      • Assist with business unit functions as needed under supervisor guidance
      • Support specific project needs of the business unit
      • Contribute to day-to-day functions within the business unit
      • Collaborate with team members to support initiatives and project deliverables
      • Research, evaluate, and analyze processes, procedures, methods, practices, strategies to ensure effectiveness and compliance
      • Apply academic knowledge to various assignments
      • Participate in collaborative meetings and work sessions
      • Plan, develop, and implement projects and strategies to meet business needs
      • Gather, organize, analyze, and present data and findings
      • Organize and monitor assigned tasks
      • Perform other duties as assigned

      Technical Requirements:

      • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
      • Ability to apply knowledge to tasks within the designated business unit
      • Gain hands-on experience by working on projects and assignments
      • Work collaboratively with team members to actively learn and train on tasks

      Education/ Certification/Years of Experience Requirements:

      • Must be currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program at Bachelor's or higher level at an accredited college or university
      • The specific field of degree and year of study will depend on the business unit

        • Working Conditions:

        This role may involve occasional exposure to elements such as dust, noise, cold, etc. Accidents are unlikely other than minor injuries.

        Physical Requirements:

        This job entails sitting, speaking, hearing, typing, writing, reading, standing, walking, and occasionally driving. Lifting up to twenty (20) lbs may be required.
