    Contract Litigation Attorney

    Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA

    Pay Rate: $80 to $110 per hour

    Job Type: Full-Time, Contract, Hybrid (2-3 Days Onsite)

    LHH is partnering with a Civil Litigation firm based in Century City, CA, to find a talented Contract Litigation Attorney. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience in civil litigation, demonstrating proficiency in preparing trial documents, pleadings/motions, discovery, document review, arbitration, and deposition experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Legal Research and Analysis: Perform in-depth legal research and analysis to bolster case strategies.
    • Pleadings and Motions: Create, draft, and submit pleadings and motions promptly and accurately.
    • Discovery: Oversee the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and engaging in discovery-related proceedings.
    • Document Review: Conduct thorough document reviews to ensure precision and relevance to the case.
    • Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, offer updates, and address legal questions.
    • Depositions: Conduct and/or participate in depositions, utilizing proficient oral communication and analytical skills.
    • Court Appearances: Represent clients in court hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings.

    Qualifications:

    • California Bar Admission: Must hold an active membership in the California State Bar.
    • Experience: Minimum of 4 years of applicable experience in civil litigation.
    • Business Litigation (Preferred): While experience in business disputes, professional liability, or securities litigation is advantageous, candidates with a strong background in civil litigation will also be considered.
