Payroll Accountant (m/f/d) at Westbrook Center, CT


We are currently seeking a
Payroll Accountant (m/f/d) for our client, a company in the field of machinery and plant engineering, located in Munich.

Your responsibilities:

  • Independently process monthly payroll for our employees, taking into account all tax and social security regulations
  • Prepare reports for social security agencies and tax authorities, as well as issue certificates and annual reports
  • Provide support to employees regarding all payrollrelated inquiries and resolve any issues related to payroll
  • Communicate with tax offices, health insurance companies, and other institutions regarding payroll matters
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in the payroll accounting department

Your profile:

  • Completed commercial training with a focus on payroll accounting or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in payroll accounting
  • Indepth knowledge of German income tax and social security law
  • Good communication skills and the ability to explain complex matters in an understandable way
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and responsibility in daily work
  • Teamoriented approach and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
