    About the Job and Company: The N Department manages important work programs for the USCENTCOM, USSOUTHCOM, and the Joint Staff under the N Division. We are looking for a technically skilled Systems Engineer to lead a dynamic work program for our USSOUTHCOM sponsor. If you are a critical thinker with leadership experience, this role is for you.     Job Description:
    We are seeking energetic individuals to join our team in Miami, Florida, supporting USSOUTHCOM. This position involves providing Systems Engineering support to the SOUTHCOM C4S Director (J6) and collaborating with a MITRE team on technical deliverables.

    Roles & Responsibilities:
    The selected candidate will lead the development of command, control, communications, and cybersecurity initiatives within USSOUTHCOM. They will work closely with military and civilian personnel to address mission challenges effectively.

    • Develop data-driven deliverables and recommendations: Produce high-quality products and advocate for capabilities that meet operational needs.
    • Interpersonal Skills: Provide team leadership and communicate project goals clearly.
    • Collaboration: Engage with professionals to develop solutions and address challenges.
    • Senior Sponsor Experience: Engage with senior leaders while maintaining strategic partnerships.
    • Flexibility: Adapt to changing priorities and drive innovation to support missions.
    • Be recognized as an expert: Contribute high-impact solutions in technical fields critical to the department's work program.
    • Ensure technical strength: Establish partnerships and support the quality of products and deliverables.
    • Drive innovation: Utilize MITRE Labs and programs to support sponsors' missions.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 5+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance.
    • Proven technical depth and leadership in relevant fields.
    • Experience in defining complex projects and leading technical teams.
    • Strong communication and organizational skills.
    • Understanding of operational environments and complexities.
    • Prior experience with DoD systems integration.
    • On-site work requirement.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
    • Experience in military Command and Control, Communications, and Computers (C4).
    • Demonstrated capability in project management and strategic planning.
    • Current knowledge of emerging DoD technologies.
    • Prior experience with COCOMs systems and missions.
    • Ability to provide actionable plans to government sponsors.

    Clearance Requirements:
    Top Secret/SCI clearance is required for this role.
