We are seeking a
_ Research Data Analyst _(casual as needed).
_ _This individual carries out, under supervision of the Principal Investigator (PI) statistical data analyses of clinical and laboratory studies.

This individual also participates in the design of laboratory studies with supervision as above. Utilizes standard and non-standard bioinformatics methodologies in the design of studies and the production of analyses. Collaborates with investigators in the preparation of presentations and publications. Opportunities for working on methodologic research with the faculty.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

Consult with clinical and laboratory investigators to determine their needs with respect to bioinformatic design of studies in collaboration with the PI.
Develop and disseminate novel bioinformatics analysis pipelines.
Design and analyze of diverse genomic projects.
Carry out appropriate methodologic procedures for analysis, overall descriptive statistic, exploratory data analyses, including graphs, quality control analyses, and standard bioinformatic pipelines.
Write design, methods, and analysis sections for research proposals.
Interpret and analyze the results of bioinformatic analyses. Prepare interim and final reports of studies.
Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with study investigators and team.
Maintain appropriate systems for database associated management.
Keep abreast of technical and academic resources related to the methodology of bioinformatic analyses.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
Three years related experience.
Additional education may substitute for required experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
