Job Description: This position is responsible for processing reusable medical and surgical supplies and equipment through proper decontamination and re-sterilization techniques.

Job Functions:
Specific Experience Requirements:
Previous experience in Central Sterile Processing or Operating Room schedule preferred. Previous experience with medical/surgical supplies and equipment preferred.
Specific Educational Requirements:
High school diploma, GED, or previous work experience. Two years' experience in an equivalent healthcare position preferred.
Special Skill, License, and Knowledge Requirements:
Additional Skill, License, and/or Knowledge Requirements: Certified Central Sterile Technician preferred.
HIPAA Requirements: Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable HIPAA regulations.
Safety Requirements: Maintains knowledge of and adherence to all applicable safety practices including incident reporting, waste handling, PPE, and patient identification.
