SALARY:
$5,475.00 to $ 6,672.00 Monthly (Range 81)

$750 New Hire Incentive

(One-time payment, upon completion of six-month

probation, if start date is 6/30/2024 or prior)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Program Technician is responsible for monitoring and implementing Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) support to LEAs. This position assists in the organization and oversight of work teams and trainings.

This position also coordinates and assists in meetings, workshops, and special events, builds positive relationships with the community, school districts, and parent groups, and assists in the management of data and program records.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSProvides support and guidance to program participants and work teams including the community and school districts;Assists in the development and implementation of professional development activities, projects, and events;Coordinates facilities, food service, audio/visual equipment, travel, and related support services for assigned events;Prepares reports, presentation information, spreadsheets, newsletters, brochures, and other forms of correspondence;Develops and maintains files, databases, and records;Monitors and maintains grant budget and financial transactions;Performs research for grant writing and grant reporting;Collects and organizes data for websites and special projects;Assists in the coordination of site-visits, meetings, trainings, workshops, and special events;Conducts, scores, processes, and trains assessments for prevention and intervention programs;Assists with distribution and receipt of records and reports and maintains records and testing security;Conducts presentations for community organizations, school districts, and parent groups;Performs related duties as assigned.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
Experience organizing and facilitating workshops, events, or programs; preparing various forms of correspondence including reports and minutes; monitoring budgets;
Knowledge of general office procedures and fiscal processes; English grammar and usage; budgeting, billing and invoicing processes;
Ability to exercise sound judgment, meet established timelines, work accurately and independently, communicate effectively in verbal and written form, work effectively with a variety of individuals and groups, maintain accurate records, travel to various locations;

Physical Abilities include sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods, reaching, fine manual dexterity, pushing and pulling, talking/hearing, near and far visual acuity, depth perception, field of vision.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSOne (1) year experience coordinating multiple projects and programs from conception through implementation;Two (2) years experience organizing and facilitating workshops, events, or programs;One (1) year experience performing budgetary procedures;Possession of a high school diploma (or its equivalency) or higher or possession of a GED.


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience working with the LCAP in a school district or county office;One (1) year experience managing databases;One (1) year experience working with data collection in a school district or county office.
