Description

The Lebensraum Diakonie e.V. and its subsidiaries are active in various social fields in northeastern Lower Saxony with a total of 450 employees.

We are currently looking for a full-time (38.5 hours/week) Head of Financial Accounting (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.

We will take into account your notice periods and vacation plans. The position can be divided, and we are happy to discuss your individual working time model with you.

Our headquarters is centrally located in the historic city center of Lüneburg. As Head of Financial Accounting, you will lead a team of 13 employees and report directly to the board.

In addition, we will entrust you with the following main tasks:

Ensuring and shaping ongoing processes in the areas of finance and taxes, including interfaces to IT, personnel administration, and property management
Ensuring accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting as well as payment transactions, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Introduction and administration of accounting-related programs
Implementation of special and project topics in the area of responsibility, including communication with banks, economic and tax auditors
Calculation, billing, and evaluation of projects and funding
