    Join SADA as a Director, Customer Engineering

    Your Mission

    As a Director of Customer Engineering at SADA, you will lead a team of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Professional Services (PS) technical sellers. You must be a natural leader of teams with technical expertise and business acumen. Understanding the entire process of professional services sales and public cloud product adoption is key. Navigating and supporting large enterprise clients is crucial. Leading cross-functional groups that include Account Executives, Professional Services, and Solutions Engineering while maintaining efficiency is part of the role.

    Most importantly, you are dedicated to building high-performing teams and providing value to clients.

    - You know that doing the right thing for clients and teams leads to shared success. Your actions will drive high levels of trust between clients and your team.

    Expectations

    - Client interaction and some travel are expected in this role. You will be client-facing, requiring up to 25% travel to client sites, conferences, and related events.

    - The initial onboarding period includes learning assignments, compliance training, and team meetings.

    Job Requirements

    In this role, you will:

    • Manage, mentor, and grow a team of high-performing PS and GCP Customer Engineers.
    • Collaborate with Sales leadership to achieve annual sales targets.
    • Oversee the PS sales process to create quality proposals and statements of work.
    • Enhance satisfaction and value for GCP value-added reseller customers.
    • Foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team culture.

    Experience we are looking for:

    • 5+ years managing high performing PS and/or technical sales teams, and 10+ years of relevant practitioner experience.
    • Strong business and technical acumen, building trust with decision-makers in enterprise organizations.
    • Proficiency in PS fundamentals and leading from opportunity to close.
    • Understanding of technical sales KPIs to evaluate and enhance team performance.
    • Recognition as a thought leader in relevant technical or industry areas.
