PAY RANGE:
$150, $180,000.00
General Responsibility:
Heavy Civil Contractor seeking Project Manager with a specific focus on pipeline, water treatment plants, and pump stations.
Significant Duties:
- Manage the overall planning, coordination, and execution of heavy civil construction projects, including pipeline installations, water treatment plant construction, and pump station projects.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project stakeholders.
- Lead and supervise project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Monitor project progress, identify and address any issues or risks, and implement corrective measures to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with project requirements and obtain necessary approvals.
- Review and evaluate project designs, specifications, and contracts, providing technical expertise and recommending improvements or modifications as needed.
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to management and stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, progress, and potential challenges.
- Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and labor, to optimize productivity and costefficiency.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor construction activities, ensure adherence to safety protocols, and address any onsite issues promptly.
- Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, promoting collaboration, resolving conflicts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant amount of experience.
- Indepth knowledge of construction methodologies, regulations, and best practices in heavy civil projects.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
Pay:
$150, $200,000.00 per year
