PAY RANGE:
$120,000- $160,000
Contractor specializing in heavy civil construction projects, with a focus on water treatment plants and wet utilities is currently in search of a Construction Superintendent.
Significant Duties:
Project Management:
- Lead and manage the overall construction process, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop and implement project plans.
Leadership:
- Provide strong leadership to the construction team, including subcontractors and vendors, to ensure project objectives are met.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and teamwork on the construction site.
Quality Control:
- Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure construction work meets industry standards and project specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with safety and quality standards.
Communication:
- Effectively communicate with project stakeholders, including owners, engineers, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management.
Problem Solving:
- Identify and address construction issues promptly, implementing solutions to keep the project on schedule and within budget.
- Collaborate with the project team to resolve any challenges that may arise during construction.
Resource Management:
- Manage resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, and materials, to optimize project performance.
- Monitor and control project costs, making adjustments as necessary.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 10+/ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with a focus on water treatment plants and wet utilities.
- Proven track record of successfully managing and completing construction projects on time and within budget.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Indepth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and permitting processes.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Pay:
$110, $150,000.00 per year
