    The Administrator for Travel and Expenses plays a vital role in managing and optimizing the organization's travel and expense management processes using the Concur platform within the shared services team. Their responsibilities span system administration, user support, policy compliance, expense processing, auditing, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

    System Administration: The Administrator is responsible for maintaining the Concur system to meet the organization's travel and expense management needs. This includes setting up user accounts, defining expense policies, configuring approval workflows, and customizing reports.

    User Support and Training: The Administrator provides support to employees using the Concur platform for booking travel, submitting expenses, and managing receipts. They may also conduct training sessions to onboard new users and educate employees on how to use Concur effectively.

    Policy Compliance: The Administrator ensures that travel and expense policies are enforced within the Concur system. This involves reviewing expense reports for compliance with company policies, identifying any violations or discrepancies, and taking appropriate action to address non-compliance.

    Expense Processing: The Administrator oversees the processing of expense reports submitted through Concur. They may review expense reports, verify expenses against receipts, and ensure timely reimbursement to employees.

    Corporate Card Management: The Administrator liaises the corporate credit card providers. They will coordinate new card issuance, card shut off, limit changes, card reporting, and any other activities that arise in relationship to the corporate card program.

    Education: A college or bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred.

    Previous experience in expense management, accounting, or administrative roles is beneficial. This could include positions such as expense analyst, administrative assistant, or similar roles.
