- Responsibilities include all aspects of the program related to successful coaching, recruiting (includes meeting enrollment goals), retention, budgeting, scheduling, promotions, fundraising, and mentoring.
- Must have NRA shooting certification or receive training and certification within 60 days of hire.
- Ensure all safety standards are full met related to storing and shooting of firearms associated with the program.
- Ordering and maintaining of equipment.
- Ensure all team members meet institutional eligibility standards.
- Must coordinate travel plans for practice and competition.
- Must maintain proper state license in order to drive HLGU vehicles.
- Must coordinate one community service project and one fundraising effort per calendar year.
- Act as a Campus Security Authority (CSA)
- Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, Institutional Advancement, Faculty, Business Office
- Must have values consistent with the mission and purpose of Hannibal-LaGrange University.
- Must have strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
- Must be willing to work evenings and weekends as necessary.
- Must agree to, sign off on, and abide by the standards of employment on the back of the application, on the yearly contract, and in the staff handbook.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Head Shotgun Sports Coach is responsible to the Director of Athletics. The position is Full-Time and does offer benefits, as specified in the handbook.
The coach will be responsible for all aspects of establishing and maintaining a quality and competitive shotgun shooting program upholding the mission and ideals of Hannibal-LaGrange University.
The coach will be assigned a non-faculty secondary role within the athletic department.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
