The Association of German Railway Technical Schools (VDEF) is an educational institution with 14 training centers throughout Germany. Since 1920, VDEF has been providing customized training and further education for its clients.

We are currently seeking a Trainer/Instructor for Technical Specialists in the field of Signaling and Safety Technology (m/f/d) for our training centers in Dresden and Halle (Saale).

Responsibilities:

Conducting seminars for the training and further education of technical specialists in the field of signaling and safety technology, as well as other railway personnel
Conducting adaptation training for various signal box technologies for train dispatchers
Conducting practical training sessions
Creating and developing seminar materials

Qualifications:

Certified Master in Signaling and Safety Technology
Railway (IHK) or Signal Mechanic or Engineer in Electrical Engineering/Communications Technology with functional training
Certified Construction Supervisor for Railway Signaling and Safety Technology or State-Certified Technician in the field of signaling and safety technology/electrical engineering/communications technology
Indepth knowledge of relevant regulations in the field of signaling and safety technology of DB Netz AG, good moderation and presentation skills, pedagogical skills, and a confident demeanor
Appointment as an electrical specialist according to DIN VDE , if the requirements are met
Ideally, extensive knowledge of various signal box technologies
Indepth technical knowledge in the field of signaling and safety technology, at least 2 years
